10.1 + 10.2

This week we have continued making wire frames and mocking up on paper our website layout.

We are also looking at creating another illustration of the seagull in 'Life Saver Donut' for our website . This will show our purpose of the life saver resembling food stronger with 3+ illustrations rather than 2 with the third illustation just a regular life saver. We have also discussed to create the illustrations to show more  character, this week we will develop our illustrations further than the poster to go on our website and to tell a narrative.

Wk 10.2


We have now started adding media into the website after critiquing the layout and placement of items at the start of the week. Elenor has developed more illustrations to place on our website and our third poster is now placed on the website too.

12.2:  My favourite aspect of the project was the website prototyping. I really enjoyed this part as i don't overly enjoy coding but i do love designing webite's so this was a fun new way to do so.  My biggest learning would be using XD Adobe as I've never used this software  before. Was ver easy to get straight into!  I would possibly choose our 3rd item to be more unique next time if i were to change something 12.2: After talking with Tim in class, the layout (size) we have been using in class for our website was too large and was throwing our illustrations and text out of proportion. Therefore i have Re-done the website to fit the right scaled size of my MacBook pro. Wk 11.1 + 11.2

This week we started off with a critique so after that have been finalising our poster with the feedback we were given by adding scale in the illustrations and text. We carried on the week with tweaking our website and getting right into our 3rd item! (Brochure). We still have a lot of finalising to do to our booklet by adding a cover photo and an emergency evacuation map ect.

9.1 + 9.2

This week my partner and i (Elenor) and i have combined our designs to create one poster. This week i looked back on our moodboard to help with our colour scheme and to refine style we are wanting to use because Elenor and i have been going down different paths. This is where i came up with the waves in the background. The last poster i made in week 8 was clashing with the variation of colours and the survival kit in the background so i wanted to make my designs more simplistic + using the right colour schemes together.
